I came across a shocking news, the terrorists had planned an attack on buildings housing top IT companies.
I have no clue on what ultimately motivates an individual to indulge into terrorism/terrorist activities but i am sure that it must be something that these terrorists righteously believe in. So when they carry out such attacks it is aimed at achieving something...But, I have not been able to comprehend their achievement by blowing up IT professionals.
To begin with, in the last decade, India has been producing IT professionals at an exponential rate. You kill one and there would be 10 more. ..You kill these 10 and there are 100 more...and it goes on... So, if the attack was targeted at reducing them in numbers, it is certainly not the way to go about it.
I wonder if they thought that this would reduce the strong force of Crème-de-la-crème Indians still working in India. Well, a visit to an engineering college would throw some light into the making of software professional Geniuses... there would be only 10% studying computer science but if you meet them at their convocation an year later, 90% would be software professionals. So, one can have a fair enough idea on what it takes to become a software professional.
One loss, which this attack, if successful, would have been in terms of the buildings...but we still do not have an IT skyscraper in India .
Again, if the terrorists thought that this would have heavily impacted the business...ask those affected because of the thriving business...If only we did not have these software professionals at the helm of affairs...
